Vehicle Interior Quietness Engineer

Job Description: 

 The primary goal of FORD OTOSAN Vehicle Interior Quietness Team is the execution of vehicle development programs within their respective carline, including development and maintenance of the NVH Target Book, cross-departmental co-ordination of development actions by leading/supporting NVH PATs/Vehicle PATs, gateway reporting, sign-off and production launch support and ongoing product development. The sign-off responsibility includes in specific Wind Noise, Air Leakage, Squeak & Rattle, Operational Sound Quality, Sound Package and Climate Comfort NVH sub-attributes. 

 The responsibilies of the required position are; 

• Initiation or execution of benchmark tests to support definition of respective program objectives 

• Development and maintenance of the NVH Target Book, including gateway summary reports and program risk assessments, 

• Expert NVH assessment of Ford and competitor vehicles, 

• Development / Execution of IQ related DVP & Health Charts (eFDVS/e2KS), 

• Leadership / Co-leadership of the NVH PATs/VPATs, task forces; representation of their section at Gateways, Management Reviews, 

• Development of complete program derivatives including Sign-off against the Target Book and program objectives, 

• Initiation / issue of Development Reports, Development Statements and CRs, 

• Test and analysis of IQ status or concerns in line with existing test procedures and Interior Quietness development manuals and processes, 

• Representation of the IQ Teams in launch teams, 

• Verification of design changes, • Implementation and refinement of NVH measurement and analysis methods, 

• Implementation and refinement of noise data acquisition and analysis systems, 

• Ensuring that the ISO9001 quality- and ISO14001 environmental policy is understood and implemented. 

Required Qualifications: 

• BS in engineering degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering) 

• Advanced level of English

 • Familiarity with TCe, and Digital Buck 

• Passion for engineering and product excellence. 

• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks w/ minimal direction; comfortable w/ changing environment of early Program work. 

• Allow to move freely for different testing & launch locations (ie Lommel Proving Ground, Tatui Proving Ground, IDIADA, Golcuk & Inonu Plants etc) 

 • Basic testing experience and familiar with testing equipments and its physics

• Ford Program knowledge of GPDS, eFDVS, and E2KS – desired 

• MS-Office Skills required 

• At least 2 years of driving experience (passenger car), preferably D class license 

• Basic body exterior,interior and closure knowledge
