We are currently looking for a Electrified Powertrain Software Engineer to join Product Development team! The position will be based inSancaktepe/İstanbul and candidates should have the following qualifications:

Job Responsibilities:

·         Research and design hybrid and electric powertrain control software features for heavy-duty trucks meeting requirements for fuel economy, energy efficiency, drivability, emissions, diagnostics and functional safety

·         Develop and implement hybrid and electric powertrain control algorithms using Model-Based Design (MBD) methodology

·         Develop and document software requirements and feature calibration guidelines

·         Collaborate with software validation and integration engineers to deliver robust and production-intent software features

·         Prepare high quality engineering documentation on development activities and regularly report on project status to internal and external contributors

Requirements:

·         MS/PhD or equivalent engineering degree in mechatronics, controls, electrical or mechanical engineering

·         Minimum 2 years of experience developing control systems, preferably in the automotive domain

·         Experience with MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow

·         Familiarity with automotive/industrial software development and validation processes

·         Familiarity with C programming

·         Familiarity with hybrid and electric powertrain fundamentals and electrical components such as electric motors, chargers, inverters and batteries is a plus

·         Experience with rapid control prototyping tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems is a plus

·         Experience with software configuration management tools is a plus

·         Experience with automotive network communication protocols is a plus

·         Familiarity with software design for functional safety is a plus
