We are currently looking for a PVT Powertrain PTO Resident Engineer to joinProduct Development, Plant Vehicle Team! The position will be based in Gölcük/Kocaeli and candidates should have the following qualifications:

·        Mechanical Engineering degree

·        Fluent in English

·        Experience in Powertrain systems is a plus

·        Knowledge on engineering & quality systems and tools.

·        Good communication skills

·        No military obligation for male candidates

Job Description:

·        Maintain communication between PTO plants, Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering departments concerning all PTO relevant problems.

·        Assist on site (VO plants) all PTO & PTAE team activities and represents the PTO organization in plant.

·        Develop and conduct resolution plans for technical problems based from engine, transmission and rear axle plants. Make relevant on-site inspections.

·        Member of the Product Commodity Team (PCT), provides data to the Problem Review Team's (PRT's).

·        Support and co-ordinate the implementation of all immediate actions (Stop Ship, Stop Build, Repair, Pull) for all PTO relevant technical problems in the plant.

·        Arrange audits on request at the individual assembly processes and the vehicles.

·        Assist and co-ordinate PTO on-site repair campaigns.

·        Maintain effective 8D reports from responsible areas.

·        Assist and support New Model Program Launch. Resolution for Fresh Eyes Review and AIMS issues

·        Support the vehicle assembly plant VRT process.

·        Use 6 Sigma tools and other processes for resolution of complex problems.

·        Identify and share new cost reduction ideas for TVM opportunities.

·        Ensure the employees in the area of responsibility are well trained efficiently to fulfil heir role in safety conditions and required quality related standards (Responsible for PTO Technicians).

·        Be familiar with and operate according to the Ford Quality Systems, including all procedures, reference sources, local procedures, local working practices and best practice engineering and quality tools / processes.
