QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a Financial Accountant (FA) for the Turkish subsidiary of our client, BTG, a growing international specialist healthcare company. Reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, UK, the FA shall be responsible for the delivery of accurate monthly accounts and providing information to finance business partners for reporting. The role requires the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders throughout the global finance team and beyond.

Job Description:

  • Raising manual invoices
  • Issue delivery notes, follow up with logistic partners and customers to ensure compliance
  • Cash collection activity for outstanding customer debt, and preparation of aged debt reporting
  • Co-ordinating purchase requisitions
  • Customer credit checks
  • Reconciliation of credit card statement to expenses claimed
  • Upload monthly Group reporting file into consolidation system
  • Prepare payment files
  • Manual payment set up
  • Monthly reconciliations – Balance sheet, customer and vendors
  • Intercompany transactions to ensure they are timely and accurately reported
  • Support in the Concur implementation for travel expenses

Your profile:

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, economics or a similar field
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • 2 plus years of performing a broad range of core accounting activities (incl month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, preparation of month end analysis)
  • Strong process and control skills; ability to understand how various financial processes (O2C, P2P and R2R) impact financial records
  • “Can-do” attitude, willing to support change – good adaptability and learning agility
  • Good organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team and with the broader business parties
  • Expectation to work independently, but with support from the UK finance team as required
