Inside Sales Specialist

We are looking for a Inside Sales Specialist  for the subsidiary of our German client, IKA-Werke GmbH & Co. KG., a leading laboratory and processing equipment manufacturer. Reporting to the Managing Director, the  ISS shall be responsible for the sales support and office management.

Job Description:

• Be the central point of contact for internal and external customers (e.g. handle incoming calls from customers requesting information, pricing and availability)
• Create offers, respond to customer inquiries in accordance with technical requirements, handle correspondence of quotation and order related questions (Product selection, conditions, delivery possibilities, availabilities, etc.)
• Administer and maintain end-customer data, prepare sales reports
• Provide day-to-day assistance and service to account managers, distributors, direct customers, and service technicians
• Assist account managers with communicating product information and technical specifications
• Assist to prepare for and join exhibitions, seminars, and other product promotion activities
• Routinely study and gain technical knowledge on the laboratory and analytical product portfolio
• Manage daily office operations

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least two years of experience in sales support or customer service
• Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must, German is a plus
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, highly self-motivated, result oriented and quality conscious
• Ability to deliver excellent service under pressure for our customers and distributors as part of a global team, awareness of the business development needs
• Problem-solving ability in a growing business using software solutions
• Preferably touch or audio typing skills
• Conversant with MS-Office applications, preferably familiar with SAP
