Overview:

Form İnşaat Tasarım Mobilya Turizm Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi is looking for a Project Manager to join its team, The US Department of State is the project's owner, and the project is situated inside the US Embassy in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager has responsibility and authority for all on-site aspects of the project throughout the construction portion of the project. The Project Manager will have the authority to make all decisions in the field. The PM shall be responsible and in-charge of direct control of executing the project with OBO’s on-site team. The major responsibility of the Project Manager is as follows:

• Weekly meetings with on-site team and subcontractors regarding progress, expectations and problem identification for timely resolution
• Work directly with the OBO Project Director on-site to coordinate all field related work items
• Overall responsibility of all aspects regarding the project site work activities, personnel and subcontractors
• Coordinate with and manage local subcontractors, vendors and authorities
• Ensure the project is being completed in an efficient, timely, safe and high-quality manner to exceed client expectations
• Following and coordinating with logistic and shipping departments, and make sure that all shipments are planned to arrive according to the schedule.
• Timely alert to home office management if there are any critical issues requiring their involvement to mitigate as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of professional employment managing comparable work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• In lieu of meeting the educational requirements above, recent successful performance as Project Manager on OBO projects
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong inter-personal, communication, negotiation, project management, claim management, risk management and business planning skills.
• Excellent command of AutoCAD and MS office programs
