R&d Design Engineer

FRANKE MUTFAK VE BANYO SİSTEMLERİ A.Ş.

R&D Design Engineer will work in Franke Mutfak Manisa hood plant and will be responsible for issues as given below;

-   Packaging components which is being used for hoods will be chosen and designed by doing necessary calculations. Standards, procedures and regulation needs will be considered as well,  

-   Common projects related to packaging will be made together with Central R&D team located in Italy, 

-   Leading and supporting Cost Saving, Quality Improvement and Standardization projects mainly packaging topics, but also for other components and products, 

-   Analyzing and solving problems based on design topics related to existing and new components/ products,

-   Communicating with suppliers to have and share know-how,

-   Supporting team members related to design matters.

-   Leading preparation of samples, prototypes,

-   Leading and organizing tests related to packaging components.

Technical Skills

-   University degree from Mechanical Engineering,

-   Fluent English knowledge,  

-   Knowledge of Bill of Materials (both design and production), Change Management,

-   Good PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) (preferably Siemens Teamcenter) and SAP knowledge,

-   Familiar with technical drawings and engineering processes, 

-   Knowledge of 3D design softwares (CAD) (PTC Creo preferable),

-   Interest of packaging components for Home Appliances and it’s regulations, 

-   Good knowledge of MS Office (for especially Excel),

-   Conformity of team work discipline, 

-   Having good ability of communication

-   Good ability to choose priorities and able to complete multi tasks on time,

-   Ability to get in professional contact with person from different cultures and countries

-   Completed military obligation preferred 

-   Analytical thinking and problem solving ability,  

-   Willing to learn new terms and ideas, continues improvement mind-set, self-development skills, researcher, interrogative,
