This position will be hired through an outsource contract. 

We are currently looking for a Systems Specialist with a minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems,
and experience in supporting and troubleshooting large, complex server environments and networks.
The candidate will take part in our domestic and cross-border projects.

Systems Specialist will play a key role in following

Installing, maintaining and monitoring server side operations and applications,
Participate or supervise of the installation of new hardware on site,
Maintaining and monitoring application/web servers, databases and operating systems,
Setting up backups and replications,
Providing support to our end users with related servers issues and writing documentation,
Following new technologies in the field of system and network,

 General qualification

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Strong logical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to deal with complex systems with minimal supervision
• Ability to collaboratively work in a team environment / able to work with a variety of personality types
• Good written English communication skills and ability to read technical documentation is a must
• One of the following certifications; ITIL foundation, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, VCP, CCNA is desirable
• Advanced level knowledge of Windows Server components, Active Directory, DNS, IIS is a must
• Advanced level knowledge of Vmware vSphere platform is a must
• Curiosity and experience on Open Source technologies is a plus
• Knowledge of Container technologies is a plus (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of scripting such as Shell/Bash, PowerShell is a plus
• Knowledge of different virtualization platforms (Xen, KVM etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge of Linux Redhat / Debian is a plus
• Familiarity with IT support tools like ServiceDesk Plus etc. is a plus
• Ability to monitor server and storage system performances and take necessary precautions
• Proven hands on experience in Datacenter operations.
• Experience in installation, operation and maintenance of the enterprise grade Server hardware and LAN/WAN devices
• Experience in SAN systems Fiber Channel, Iscsi, Nfs
• Experience in network management (LAN, WAN, VPN, Switching, Routing, Network Monitoring), familiar with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, SSH etc.)
• Experience in Server OS installation and management Windows & Linux
• Experience in in Domain Controller Management
• Experience in virtualization technologies, VMware vSphere
• Experience working with Vmware vSphere problem determination, capacity planning and root cause analysis
• Experience in Backup/Restore (Veeam preferably)
