IT System Administrator

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or other technical discipline and 3-5 years’ specific experience in related technical roles.
• The incumbent must be able to express him/herself in local language and in English, verbally & written. 
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with ERP
• Experience working with machine HMI, SCADA- and PLC- systems desired
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
• Working knowledge of PC hardware
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc)
• Basic understanding of Active Directory concepts and administration
• Ability to support a variety of Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as bar-code scanners
• Ability to analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume production environment.
• Ability to interact with various levels of the organization.

• Work incidents, service and change tickets as assigned by Helpdesk and IT Infrastructure Service Management.
•  Perform immediate troubleshooting as the situation dictates for any systems operated in the facility.
• Install, configure approved software and as required de-install or decommission legacy systems.
• Provide IT related technical and functional assistance to all end users working in the facilities or remotely.
• Support HMI-, SCADA- and other IT systems used to Operate, control and support Manufacturing-, Distribution and other equipment.
•  Manage and load server back-up tapes and disks.
• Provide hands and feet support to Corporate IT and outsourced IT services providers
• Ability to build credibility and trust within the organization.
