QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Gaya Textile is a (flat)knitwear supplier partner of European brands and now looking for Senior Merchandise Manager.
Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in Textile
- Technical Know-How on (flat) knitwear production is NOT a must
- 6+ years of experience in textile exporting companies (experience with Scandinavian brands is an asset)
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Good communication and strong problem solving skills
- No travel restrictions
Job Description
- Responsible for communication with the customers. Must understand all the requirements and needs of the customers in terms of design, quality and pricing.
- Follow up on daily basis of all the processes from sampling to delivery, in behalf of the customer
- Prepare updated technical sheets and lead production department
- Update critical path and inform customers on a weekly basis
- Assist sampling department for new models according to customers’ needs and requirements
- Responsible for time management of all stages of production, from sampling to delivery
