Production Engineer

GEFEST is Korean automotive parts supplier part of YOUNGSAN GROUP located in Arslanbey OSB, an industrial complex in Izmit, Turkey, and manufactures automotive sheet metal components and sound absorption material.

• BS/MS degree in Mechanical, Industrial or other related engineering disciplines
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in production dept. of Automotive Industry
• Preferably General Understanding Lean Manufacturing Knowledge such as, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Problem Solving Methods, Kanban system ,
•  Good knowledge of MS office programs,
• Excellent command of English (interviews will be conducted in English)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
• Self-motivated and willingness to learn new subjects,
• Shift working,
• Completed military service
• Live/Willing to live in Kocaeli(Kocaeli Kartepe, İzmit, Köseköy, Körfez, Derince, Gölcük, Başiskele)

İŞ TANIMI

• Executes daily production activities and responsible for Cost , Quality and Process Improvement Projects in production area,
• Take active role in new product launches, equipment installations, method studies, productivity and ergonomics improvement projects
• Reports, tracks and improves production related KPIs, prepares various production reports related with Blue Collar and Production Management.
• Support the head of department to achieve objectives of the team & company,
• By analysis of the problems affecting the production tempo facilitate resolution of these problems and posture, analysis, improvement activities to be followed
