Lead Software Developer (CORE) C, C++

• Architect and design the software as new code for functional requirement or from existing code in C, C++.

• Optimize existing code to enhance software performance and stability, building efficient, robust code following best code design practices.

• Analyze the flow control, and determine the functional output for the same.

• Check the quality of the existing code by modules and functionalities.

• Analyze chunks of code and project the outcome functionality

• Implement performance and quality check on new and existing codes.

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Make a full record of the build tool chain.

• Recreate the current code on a clean system in conjunction with VCS

• Write tests for the revised code.

• Write sufficient code for new functionality or software updates.

• Write sufficient code to enhance embedded system functionality.

• Capture all the build errors, warnings, etc.

• Record the build time and optimize it

• Run tests on both the existing code & the clean system, archive the results.

• Do an impact analysis to determine which areas of the code can benefit the   most from changes and updates. 

• Document the software product.
