QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Yildirim Group is active in 11 sector by incorporating establishments such as Yilport Holding, Yilport International Holding, Yilmar Holding, Yilfert Holding, Yildirim Enerji Holding, Yilmaden Holding and Yildirim Holding. Gemlik Gubre, brings more than one of third of the group’s revenue.

Gemlik Gubre is one of the Yildirim Holding associations and established in 1973, as a government enterprise. The company was bought by Yildirim Group following by government decision of privatization and became an entity of Yildirim Holding in 2004. After Yildirim group’s investment, Gemlik Gubre became one of the major fertilizer producers in Turkey. Our company holds a significant share of domestic fertilizer market by possessing over 1000 vendors and nearly 3000 agriculture sales cooperatives.

Gemlik Gubre is aiming to fulfil the all fertilizer needs of their clients via production or importation. The company has 1.000.000 metric tonnes warehouse capacity in strategic locations of Turkey. Therefore nearly 600.000 metric tonnes fertilizer produced in our plant and up to 1.000.000 metric tonnes imported per year to reach its aims.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant fields
  • Minimum 7 or 10 years experience in similar positions
  • Advanced level of Excel and other MS Office Applications
  • Able to use SAP very well, preferably experienced in S4hana processes,
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English,
  • High attention to details, analytical thinking capabilities, focused on results,
  • High management, communication and coordination skills,
  • Advanced planning and organizing capability,
  • Open minded, enthusiastic to learn and to innovation,
  • Result oriented,
  • Experience on Logistics,Customs and Export Operations,
  • No restriction to travel,
  • No military obligation for male candidates.


JOB Description

  • Realization of management, coordination and process improvement actions of all purchasing and logistics processes of the institution on a global and local scale,
  • Creating purchasing strategies and policies and adapting them according to changing conditions,
  • Ensuring the realization of demand forecasting, material, scheduling, stock, warehouse, logistics and production planning by considering orders, resources and customer demands in the most efficient way,
  • Managing and coordinating the relations with the relevant departments within the company or outside the company with which the purchasing functions are related,
  • Conducting shipping and customs operations and working to minimize the costs of operations,
  • Monitoring and analyzing supplier performances,
  • For the purpose of eliminating non-standard works and transactions that may occur in matters falling within the scope of purchasing and continuous improvement; Participating in 'corrective action' and 'preventive action' studies.
