Construction & Commissioning Commodity Manager

The C&C (Construction & Commissioning) Commodity Manager is responsible for driving the sourcing initiatives for site installation works and complex site indirect needs. In this role you will manage and contribute to:  

•   Ensure all C&C needs for operation of our construction sites especially Site Installation Services

•  ITO / Costing Support

•  Managing supplier panel from identification & qualification to onboarding

•  Management of request for quotations

•  Support procurement team

•  Supplier Relationship Management

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead/Support the supplier selection, qualification, development and overall supplier relationship management
• Meet business targets and customer needs, including improving procurement processes and optimizing Sourcing resources to enhance the customer experience with Hydro Solutions
• Work closely with C&C Team, Buyers, EHS, Finance, Quality and other functions
• Aligning closely with internal customers to identify and assess supplier capabilities
• Recommend improvements to existing procurement policies, procedures and tools
• Manage the RFQ process from RFQ elaboration, negotiation up to signature of contract
• Provide governance and trainings of Procurement Specialists

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant disciplines
• Min. 5 years relevant commercial experience in Sourcing and/or Supply Chain of site installation services
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of contract management basics and understanding of general terms and conditions
• Experience in sourcing of site installation activities and its related risks
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and negotiation skills

Desired Qualifications :

• French and German language would be plus
• Knowledge of SAP/Power Max system
