1. Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain
2. Preference will be given to persons with: a major in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering
3. Currently studying undergrad 3rd or 4th year only with strong academic performance (If graduating in May/June 2019, will no longer be eligible for our internships program)
4. Fluent in Turkish and English
5. Able to work min. 20 hours a week, at least 6 months availability
6. Ability to solve problems in a team / manufacturing environment
7. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to connect with all levels of the organization showing openness, transparency & humility.
8. A strong commitment to a career in Lean Manufacturing or supply chain

Purpose of the Job
-Accelerate development of leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics) and Environment, Health & Safety functions at Gebze.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities -Partner with lean and operational leaders to develop strategic deployment planing, establish transformational vision, deploy and improve current lean depository training to spread lean principles and concepts across the business. -Partner with sourcing and materials on developing supplier Lean skills -Partner with material leader in order to prepare a detailed technical specification about material flow in the workshop - Partner with material leader and manufacturing leader in order to design and develop a working solution in the workshop to track flow of the transformer/materials physically in the production. -Serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardization -Coach / train plants and other central functions (i.e., sourcing, materials, engineering) in the use of Lean tools and the simplification methodology to drive significant business impact -Establish appropriate operating rhythms with key stake holders to provide regular training
