QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance processes on existing and future machineries and equipment, test set-ups, testing equipment, and building systems, as well as for developing new and updating existing maintenance routines. In addition; will work on planning and maintaining stocks of materials such as spare parts, consumables, etc., keeping in mind the highest utilization level possible at minimal costs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures for facility, equipment and supporting systems
- Enhance safety by developing equipment specific and maintenance specific risks assessments
- Plan, coordinate (with internal and external resources, when needed) and secure execution of maintenance activities in transformers manufacturing facility.
- Conduct periodic checks of facility , test equipment and supporting systems to ensure everything is up to standards and requirements.
- Maintain the stocks and inventory records for equipment and supplies related to maintenance (i.e., spare parts, lubricants, axillary materials, etc.)
- Support planning, developing, and implementing maintenance budget.
- Identify relevant contractors, materials and parts suppliers aiming to conduct work on safe, cost efficient and high-quality manner.
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. Develops strong relationships and explains technical information to others
Required Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
- Proven experience of minimum 10 years in maintenance management in transformers manufacturing facilities
- Hands on experience as a maintenance engineer is preferred
- Good understanding of mechanical / electrical, hydraulic, heating, and other facility-related systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Proven experience with spare parts, assets and materials stock management
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Good problem-solving skills and experience
- Project management skills and experience
- Experience working with MS office applications (word, excel, power point, etc.)
- Experience working with maintenance & assets management software
- Proficient in English.
