Role Summary/Purpose:

Ensures project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into project planning scenario. Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections. Ensures other functions have access to accurate current reports and projections and relevant reports are available for the customer. The Project Planner is responsible for the project planning and scheduling of Project execution deliverable reflecting the designated scope and level of detail.

Essential Responsibilities:

•Assist the PD for the definition of the Project Planning Strategy, •Coordinate the scheduler for the set-up, consolidation and update of the project MTS, •Work together with the PMSI of the project to set-up the site planning up to the site opening, •Perform all the schedule analysis (critical path & float management) and challenge the team, •Integrate the R&O and NCR impact in the MTS (i.e. make simulations or real changes in case of any R&O) •Assist the PD and coordinate the Schedulers and functions representative for definition of the project priorities, •Organize and implement the Last Planner action, •Gather and consolidate the information to produce and communicate the external and internal monthly report, •Communicate project priorities to management and to the functions and request arbitration, •Prepare and consolidate the planning slides for cash, financial & other Milestones follow-up, •Set-up and update of the OTS of the project and participate to all necessary meeting, •Provide all deliverable required in the contract in term of time management •Analyze schedule performance compared to the established project plan using critical path analysis method (CPM) and float management, with a focus on early identification of risks and opportunities to facilitate proactive actions that will optimize on-time performance of internal and sub-contracted deliverable. Advise Project Manager and other functional Project Team members of status and recommended strategies to respond to identified risks and opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. 

•Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Project Planning. 

•Working knowledge of Primavera software - must
