QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lead Product / Plant System Integrator will be responsible for the project technical execution in bringing together component / product subsystems into a whole and ensuring that those subsystems function together.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Responsible to define the customer (and regulatory) requirements of the project / system and accordingly provide work packages to the CoEs, including the contract and standard requirements, the interfaces, the planning, the quality and the cost as per his/ her scope.
• Is the single point of contact for external and internal customer for his / her scope: Therefore is the “single technical face” to the customer - or /and internal or external partner.
• Ensure the On Time Delivery of (her/his scope of) the project, and relevant engineering budget.
• Accept or reject changes in case of deviations from customers requirement, manages changes and issues change (variation) orders. Identify potential opportunities and scope during inspection, surveys and part refurbishment.
• Accept or reject the change in case of deviations from GE standards requirement and manages changes and issue change orders in full coordination with HPM.
• Responsible to provide work packages to the Centers of Excellence for the project including the client requirements, the interfaces, the planning, the quality and the cost as per his/ her scope as sold.
• Drive and pace project gate reviews (milestones) during the whole lifecycle.
• Coordinate and control the interfaces among all project stakeholders as defined in the interface matrix (DoW) and minfex.
• Accountable for the risks and opportunities and margin movement for the his/ her scope.
• Manage and harmonize the technical documentation (including numbering, O&M documents).
• Define the right site survey and pertinent inspections in coordination with site and quality.
• Propose the alternative and the possible optimization at design stage that can impact the design, the supplies or site activities as per the strategy defined by Product Management function.
• Deliver specifications, interface data to partners (systems, turbines, generators and civil engineers).
• Responsible of the coordination of the project Drawings and Documents customer validation.
• Receive and coordinate all technical input and feedback to the other parties in the process (design, site, and customer) from start of Basic Design until Final acceptance of Product and including the As Built information.
• Participate to the project weekly review, 6 weeks look ahead.
• Take part in relevant design reviews.
• Coordinate support for site activities with CoEs and Fleet support (where applicable)
• Manage Feedback of Experience of projects

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Advanced degree in engineering
• Experienced in engineering turnkey projects field and project management
