QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
University degree in Engineering or Business Administration
Minimum 3-4 years of purchasing or procurement experience preferably in medical industry
Fluency in English
Excellent command of MS Office programs,SAP knowledge is an asset
Strong communication & negotiation and interpersonal skills with excellent organizing and planning skills
Good analytical and problem solving skills for a sustainable and powerful relationship with suppliers
Ability to interact with suppliers complying with all corporate standards
Demonstrated excellence in working in a team environment with successful collaboration
No restriction for travelling in and out of country
No military obligation for male candidates

Representing purchasing department within/out of Getinge, and against suppliers
Establish strong relationships with suppliers
Managing relations with existing suppliers and finding alternative ones according to the overall performance of existing ones
Develop and implement purchasing strategies for direct suppliers
Supplier Selection & Qualification
RFQ/RFI process
Planning and coordination of purchasing activities and communicate with stakeholders; R&D, PEM(Production Engineering Management), QA&RA, Finance, Planning teams
Conduct negotiations, contract development with the suppliers of direct materials
Contract management (Confidentiality, Corporate, Commercial, Quality agreement etc.)
Technical and commercial discussions, with suppliers and internal
Ongoing supplier development; escalation and troubleshooting for production
Implementation, development and follow-up of purchasing procedures & policies
Identify, initiate and deliver buying and saving opportunities
Investigate opportunities for cost improvement, search for alternative sources and alternative suppliers
Support data and strategies for the related categories within Global Getinge Category Strategies
Report and Monitor KPIs
