   Gizil provides multi-discipline engineering (mechanical, process, piping, civil, electrical and instrumentation), construction and digitalization services for the industry. Gizil has 2 main offices; Gizil GmbH in Düsseldorf/ Germany and Gizil Turkey in Istanbul/ Turkey. 

   We are looking for a Project Management Office Chief to join our team in Kozyatagi/ Istanbul for both our local projects and the ones in Europe.In this role, you would be in Gizil’s office at Nida Kule Kozyatağı/ Istanbul. 

   As a PMO Chief your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. 

   An ideal candidate for this role has gained work experience in project management and multi-disciplinary projects and has customer-oriented way of working.

Qualifications: 

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or Science
• 4-7 years of project management and related experience
• Technical knowledge in engineering disciplines
• Proven working experience as a project administrator
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in EPC sector
• Knowledge in project planning using MS Project and Primavera
• Ability to communicate efficiently with different stakeholders
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Engineering management experience is seen as advantages
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Responsibilities: 

• Ensuring teams meet all scope requirements by completing jobs properly according to their contract or agreement with the client
• Provide concrete guidance on what everyone needs to do and the most efficient way to complete each step
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
