• Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school of medicine
• 5+ years work experience in Occupational Health and physicians team management
• Ability to work with various professionals including physicians and associates
• May require at least 2-4 years of clinical experience in occupational medicine

İŞ TANIMI

• Guide and treat employees on all levels and make sure that occupational health and safety are well-maintained.
• Determine the cause of a work-related injury, decidethe vital importance, and assess the job site.
• Conduct medical screenings for new hires or candidates to make sure they are physically capable of meeting the job requirements.
• Analyze the workplace and make suggestions for policy changes to reduce the likelihood of on-the-job injuries. 
• Examines patients daily to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
• Recommend/implement policies to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
• Oversees the patient's diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and/or injury.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with those under clinical supervision and the employees.
• Maintain professional standards in accordance with current legislation and practices.
• Monitoring toxic or otherwise dangerous substances and their effects on employees.
• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams such as Human Resources, Ergonomists and Safety and Environmental specialists.
• Be able to organize and manage the delivery of health services.
• Promote health in the workplace and lifestyles.
• Conduct yearly physical examinations offered or required by the employer.
• Keep up to date with industry developments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Advise companies on policies to reduce the spread of contagious diseases and their associated expenses, such as employee absences and insurance claims.
• Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury or may act as a consultant to identify workplace health hazards.
• Develops a liaison relationship with members of the Health and Safety department.
• Participates ongoing quality assurance/improvement/preventive audit process for the workplace health conditions.
• Carrys out health surveillance of workers, including night shifts.
