Job Description

We are looking for a procurement specialist for our upstream services division, the fastest-growing solution partner of the local offshore oil & gas exploration and development projects. Key tasks and main responsibilities are:

• Perform purchasing processes by providing the best conditions in terms of price, quality, delivery, technology and sustainability in accordance with centrally defined guidelines.
• Input procurement data on the supply-chain system; receive MRs, build up RFQs and inquire quotations.
• Manage item code systematics of commercial products within the scope of ERP master data.
• Analyze and report performances of suppliers, service providers, materials and commodities in terms of price, quality and delivery.
• Research and conduct systematical approaches to ascertain the best materials and suppliers, and expedite orders.
• Source alternative and potential suppliers, service providers, and material innovations into the purchasing portfolio, and find alternative supply solutions in case of any production constraint.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments both for daily operations and internal projects.

Qualifications

•   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related disciplines.
•  2-4 years of experience in Purchasing processes
•  Fluency in both written and spoken English.
•  Oil industry knowledge would be an asset.
•  Experience in ERP systems would be an asset.
•  Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications.
•  Strong demonstrated negotiation and analytical abilities. 
•  Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines in a complex international environment
•   Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•   Good team player, with a positive attitude.
