Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for leading and executing complex audit engagements, providing guidance to junior team members, and working closely with management to provide assurance on the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute complex audit engagements, including the development of audit programs and testing procedures, in compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, including reviewing their work and providing feedback on their development.
• Assess the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations, and work with management to develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging trends in auditing, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in internal auditing, with experience leading and executing complex audit engagements preferably in Construction, Transportation, Logistics or Retail industries.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing and risk management methodologies, as well as regulatory requirements such as Turkish GAAP and Tax Legislation.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA are highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with others.
