JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing day-to-day server operations
• Works intensively on improving current trade server’s infrastructure and all related applications
• Communicates with third party vendors and service providers based in different locations
• Responsible to monitor systems to ensure high performance and availability for 7/24
• Planning, coordination and implementation infrastructure upgrades and installations
• Documents all technical inquiries, develop and review content for knowledge base
• Performs 2nd and 3rd level support role in the field of responsibilities
• Maintains backup schedule and performs systems & network backups. Ensures on a daily basis that backups are successfully taken

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience performing regular system administration duties
• Strong knowledge and experience in Windows Server OS Family, Linux distributions, Backup/Archiving, Patch Management tools and concepts
• Experience in support of Meta Trader 4 and 5 will be strong advantage.
• Experience in software deployments and automatic deployment solutions will be an advantage.
• Network knowledge on TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, WAN,LAN architectures
• Ability to automate using scripting languages like (Shell, PowerShell, Rubby)
• System monitoring experience (ManageEngine OpManager, Zabbix, Nagios etc.)
• Experience in virtualization (Vmware – HyperV), VEEAM Backup
• Experience in Storage, SAN/NAS solutions
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong documentation and/or technical writing skills
• Problem solving skills, able to effectively troubleshoot issues also remotely
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English
