We are looking for a full-time "Purchasing Assistant (Fixed Term Contract) - Design” for our Izmir office in Gram Equipment Turkey as part of a Procurement team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering (or Industrial Engineering),
• Good communication skills in both Turkish and English (our corporate language is English),
• Experienced MS Office user and preferable advanced Excel knowledge,
• Strong analytical capability,
• Strong motivation to learn and perform as best in class,
• Works independently but is a team player at the same time,
• ERP understanding (we use Business Central),
• Purchasing experience will be an advantage,
• “B” Class Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• 1-year fixed term contract in design team,
• Purchase order management to ensure delivery in the right quantity, at the right time and for the right price,
• Maintain master data,
• Support Buyers in developing suppliers to improve performance,
• Support Buyers in sending out RFQ’s,
• Other ad-hoc tasks.
