We are looking for a full-time “Purchasing Engineer - Commercial” for our Izmir office in Gram Equipment Turkey as part of a Procurement team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering
• High level of spoken and written English (Corporate Language is English)
• Advanced level of ERP understanding
• Preferably Minimum 10 years Purchasing experience
• Advanced MS Office & Excel knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong analytical capability
• Strong motivation to perform as best in class
• Team Player
• “B” Class Driver’s License
• No restriction for travelling in and out of country

Responsibilities

• Conducting direct procurement processes
• Supporting organization within getting parts on time
• Searching actively critical components on the market
• Data management including managing robot
• Developing and digitalizing database for critical components
• Improving current process together with cross-function team
• Execute continuous improvement ideas
• Placing orders at best price, due time and quality required
• Purchase order management to ensure timely delivery
• Claim handling
• Invoice approval
