GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Gratis has been providing service in the personal care industry for 10 years with the motto of "Güzel Bak Kendine” (Take Good Care of Yourself), and it offers more than 8 thousand products across 13 different categories ranging from make-up products to skin care and baby care products, hygiene products, and snacks as well as the products of the world's number one brands in particular.

Gratis has been ranked first among the top 100 companies with the highest number of female employees amongst Turkey's top 500 largest companies thanks to its high rate of female employees and managers, besides staff members of all Gratis stores are made up of only female employees. Gratis, a company which has been awarded many times and selected as "The Brand People Fall in Love with" and "the number one brand in the personal care industry” by consumers, raises the bar for services provided in the industry to a much higher level by its innovative and dynamic perspective, advanced technological infrastructure, and specialized merchandising approach.

The aim of Gratis, the most attractive sales channel according to customers, employees, and suppliers is to offer its customer an easily accessible, fast, and comfortable shopping place as well as providing a pleasant shopping experience with exciting new brands and products along with the essential personal care products.


Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing continuous data sources and reporting,
  • Support Market Research manager in coordinating all phases of Consumer, Shopper & Brand research projects, Qualitative and Quantitative- end-to-end (from briefing, agency coordination, deployment, reporting & analysis) ensuring 100% quality and on-time delivery of clear and actionable insights. Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders throughout the whole process, seeking to add value at every step,
  • Utilize qual and quant research techniques to address business questions spanning: Category Usage & Attitudes, Consumer Segments, Digital Behaviour, Concept, Proposition, Claims,
  • Manage Ad-Hoc and Continuous research agencies to maximize ROI on our contracts. Coach and feedback to help them become “trusted business partners”.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Category, CRM, Human Resources, Finance as well as key stakeholders in Senior Management,
  • Provide competitor assessment and consumer/shopper/category trends analysis efforts to feed into strategic decision-making at all levels of the business.
  • Ensure that guidelines for methodologies and tools are applied correctly and consistently by all 3rd parties,
  • Responsible for function budget management and ensuring high standards in processes & documentation.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Marketing Research, Economics, Statistics or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English,
  • Min. 2-3 years of business insights and research experience (either agency or client side, ideally mix of both, preferably in FMCG).
  • Strong in framing a business problem and developing hypotheses. Effectively scopes the problem, translates into a research question and plans the required insights collection/ analysis steps based on the early formulation of hypotheses,
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills,
  • Excellent project management skills,
  • Strong prioritization and multi-tasking ability,
  • Strong stakeholder management skills,
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills. Able to develop and deliver compelling narratives to tell engaging stories using data and insight,
  • Effective written & verbal communication. Build logical storylines, actively listen to others, deliver, and persuade, using fact and reason,
  • Strong in collaboration / teaming.
