We are looking for "Junior AR Accountant" who will join our Accounting Department.

Job Decsription

• Perform and operate day-to-day accounting receivable activities in accordance with the organization's accounting policies and procedures,
• Maintenance of the most efficient accounts receivable operations and monitoring systems, structure and policies for Groupe SEB Istanbul in line with group's best practices and current laws and regulators,
• Keeping and developing all accounts receivable related counterparty relationships, according to the guidelines set by the group policy, 
• Safekeeping of all enforceable  cheques, notes, credit cards documentation and agreements, 
• Collaboration with controlling departments providing information and documentation for  accounting postings, 
• Identify and playing a role to help to execute the necessary process adjustments, 
• Send statement to outstanding customers,
• Reconcile A/R to the G/L,
• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues, 
• Perform day to day accounts receivable transactions including verifying, classifying and posting accounts receivable data, 
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted,
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues,
• Prepare and maintain various reports.

Main Skills Required

• University degree in economics, finance, business administration or related fields,
• At least 2+ years experience in accounting, AR function preferred,
• High energy level, comfortable performing multi tasked projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities,
• Proficient in the use of Excel, 
• Intermediate level of English is preferred.
