Gurkan Building Elements is a corporate that provides high-quality service at design, production and montage of interior and exterior building elements such as PVC and aluminium windows and doors, façade cladding, skylights, balustrades etc. We mainly undertake foreign projects, thus export incomes constitute most of our revenue. We are also foreign markets distributor of Kupa Movable Glass Systems, establishing manufacturing dealerships around the world.

About the role: 

 The Foreign Markets Technical Sales Assistant will be responsiblefor expanding our dealership network (mainly for Kupa Movable Glass Systems) and increasing our revenue by supporting our current and potential clients mainly with issuing their orders, managing the export processes and giving technical support online.

Success in this role is accomplished by a combination of talent in marketing and sales as well as aptness to comprehend manufacturing and montage techniques of glazing systems. It is an exciting opportunity for individuals who aim to develop internationally together with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being a key conduit of communication with our foreign manufacturer dealers
• Developing and maintaining successful relationships with existing and potential dealers mainly online
• Sending quotations to customers as well as updating the price lists
• Taking orders and following up manufacturing and supply of the related order
• Preparing export documentation and following up shipments
• Taking the major role of training the dealers in technical issues (about how to make manufacturing and montage of the glazing systems that are sold)
• Payment follow-up and handling customer feedbacks
• Making market research in order to reach suitable manufacturing dealers in glazing systems and gathering market information
• Supporting other team members in quotation works of our other construction projects

Requirements:

• A minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, technical background is strongly preferable
• Advanced English communication skills and a second foreign language is desired
• Ability to understand and clearly verbalise how building elements (such as windows, façades and movable glass systems etc.) are manufactured and montaged to be able to  teach the dealers and answer their questions online
• Ability to create clear and concise product demonstrations, technical manuals and  presentations
• High proficiency with MS Office products, email and other online communication techniques
• An adept networker who can identify key decision makers and build strong relationships
• Able to manage and set priorities to maximize account development
• Very strong organizational and time management skills and ability to answer dealers’ requirements on time
• A good team player, goal oriented and enthusiastic for self-improvement along with growing the business.
