Halavet Turkey is looking for a "Process Engineer" to be employed in our Tuzla/Istanbul plant with the following qualifications;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Engineering , Chemical Engineering, Mechenical Engineering or Industrial Engineering 
• Preferably minimum 8 years of experience in production facilities, food or pharmaceutical sector experience is an asset,
• ERP and BOM knowledge,
• Excellent command of MS Office applications,
• Fluent in English both written and spoken,
• Experienced in LEAN manufacturing tools,
• Cost, quality and developement oriented,
• Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, leadership and communication skills,
• Good in planning & organisation, critical problem solving and decision making,
• Ability to work at abroad and overseas countries with promoted to manager, when improved himself to be a leader.

Job Description

• The Bovine Gelatine Process Engineer is in charge of the Processing activities, i.e. Bovine Fermantation,  liquid processes, filtration, drying,
• Responsible from all technical details of the existing automated production system and technical specifications of the semi products/products,
• Ability to motivate and develop onsite personnel and communicate across a broad range of management levels and functional areas,
• Checking Bovine Gelatine Processing conditions and maintaining/improving quality,
• Keeping detailed records of the processes and analyze/ report them,
• Support improvement projects in the plant,
• Overseeing technical developments,
• Ensuring that the system files, recipes, BOM are prepared and that the audits and inspections are passed completely,
• Using root couse method to troubleshoot production problems as they arise,
• Plan, execute and document production trials,
• Following and reporting departmental KPI's,
• Supporting the continuous improvement activities.
