Harbin Electric International Co., Ltd. (HEI), an important member of HE Group, is China’s leading large-scale enterprise in power project contracting and export of power equipment. Established in 1983, HEI is primarily engaged in the supply of complete sets of equipment, the undertaking of EPC projects, and the construction of a relative substation, transmission lines, and other utilities in the area of thermal power plants, hydropower station projects, combined-cycle power plants and wind power projects over 20 different countries. Within the contract in force framework with the client, HEI is the EPC contractor in charge of the engineering, procurement, and construction /installation works related to the Paper Mill Plant Project in the Zonguldak - Kilimli region. Accommodation and transportation will be covered by HEI.

Job description

The civil supervisor is in charge of controlling subcontractors and their civil works conformity to construction works of the Mill Plant buildings. These construction works include typical civil construction works such as infrastructures, cast-in-place concrete foundations, pre-cast concrete beam-columns installations, and structural steel works.

Preferred qualifications and skills requirements

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of on-site construction experience.

- Fluent in English - read, spoken, and written (will be an asset)

- familiar with computer software such as Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/ AutoCAD

- Ability to read and understand construction specifications and engineering drawings. Being familiar with Turkish building codes/safety/standards & requirements, and construction procedures is a plus.

- Ability to cooperate with the QHSE team regarding Quality Assurance and HSE requirements.

- Willing to work on construction site in Zonguldak / Kilimli

- Flexibility in working time due to construction site necessities

- Ability to communicate proactively in a multicultural environment
