Haznedar Durer is a global provider of refractories, supplying high-grade basic and acidic bricks, as well as alumina silicate-based monolithics and magnesium oxide products to the iron & steel, cement and petrochemical industries.

The company provides a complete refractory offering from product supply to technical and engineering expertise including supervision and installation for a wide range of customers over five continents.

We are looking for EHS Specialist for our growing organisation.

Profile:

-       University degree in Engineering,
-       Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position,
-       A,B,C Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
-       Strong analytical skills,
-       Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
-       Good command of written and spoken English,
-       Excellent MS Office applications,
-       Strong analytical and problem solving skills,
-       Excellent Team Player, organized, pro-active and creative,
-       Eager to learn and get experienced in a growing production facility,
-       Location of the Plant: Silivri, İstanbul

 Job Description:

- Facilitate EHS rules and procedures implementation according to Imerys and legal standards, and verify that they are well understood and applied across the entire perimeter.- Assist the operations in implementing and maintaining a robust EHS management system (& Quality system when appropriate) in the organization.

- Coordinate EHS activities in the perimeter to minimize risk to employees, customers, neighbors, and the environment.

- Support to develop or implement EHS Annual Operating Plan, annual EHS goals and EHS KPIs.

- Develop, adapt or administer appropriate EHS training as required by local regulation, IMERYS policy.- Support or perform risk analysis on major and minor activities done in the production - unit and support in / implement the appropriate procedures/corrective actions to reduce any risks.

- Maintain the EHS communication network for reporting and best practice sharing across the organization.- Manage or contribute for the EHS reporting.

- Conduct or support routine audits on general safety practices and propose/implement derived corrective actions and measures.

- Work effectively with other support to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of EHS programs/events and EHS culture. Ensure the EHS support for the daily activities to the production.
