We're looking for a "Junior System Specialist" for our Head Office in Gebze.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Implementing new technologies and tools.

·         Handling routine application/database maintenance tasks.

·         Monitoring the product’s security & health.

·         Perform root cause analysis for incidences.

·         Troubleshooting existing systems and advice improvements.

·         Monitor application/database performance.

·         Playing bridge role implementing infrastructure between third party companies and our local braches.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·         Self-motivated learner, eager to learn new technologies, quick to research

·         BA/BS in Computer Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience

·         Good understanding of networking fundamentals and Internet services.

·         Minimum 1+ years experience in System Administration.

·         Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments such as Ubuntu.

·         Military service should be completed or deferred at least 2 years for male candidates.

·         Very good command of English is required.

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·         Loving open source enviroments.

·         Having fun while working.

·         Knowledge of Postgresql database.

·         Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, and multi tenants applications/databases.

·         Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.

·         Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure.

·         Familiarity with web based applications and microservice architecture.
