An international engineering company is looking for an Business Development Expert to join their branch office international team located in Ankara, Turkey.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  •        Bachelor Degree is a must, preferably in engineering
  •       Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  •       Preferably 5 years of experience
  •        Experience in proposal preparation
  •       Knowledge of local and international tendering procedures
  •       Positive and Professional Attitude
  •        No military obligation and no handicap for traveling locally and to abroad.
  •       An extensive understanding of the local market
  •       Able to analyse sector and potential markets
  •       Strategic Thinking
  •       Attention to detail
  •       The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines,
  •       Leadership skills, sociable demeanor
  •       Target oriented
  •       Good knowledge of MS Office tools

JOB DESCRIPTION

The applicant with preferably 5 years of working experience must be able to give assistance to Company  for the following duties:

  • Developing the company network
  • Identifying business opportunities in the market
  • Providing useful market intelligence
  • Applying to tenders, preparing and submitting proposals; sourcing, writing, collating and submitting bids for both current and perspective clients
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with partners and clients
  • Identifying new business opportunities, initiate business development activities, develop and manage key client relationships,
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Writing reports and providing feedback to upper management about what is and is not working,
  • Identify and report on business opportunities 
  • Manage and execute the business development strategy and implement tactical plans to help meet and exceed organizational expectations,
  • Ensure that annual revenue targets are achieved and workload is completed in line with timescales.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legislative procedures and keeping up to date with relevant knowledge
