QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Having at least 2-3 years of product management experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to priorities tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to completing tasks, keeping on top of suppliers and internal staff to ensure deadlines are met. Report back regularly on the status of a task/project
  • Self-starter, who can drive and execute projects, foster innovation, focus on delivery, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively, accurately and effectively and demonstrate high levels of commitment and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to negotiate with suppliers, and maintain professional internal and external relationships
  • Ability to be highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactively able to establish and maintain effective working team relationships within own team and with all other departments

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement training programs and related materials for sales team to meet sales goals and organize customer training courses, written materials, speakers and presenters
  • Responsible for managing the web site and social media platforms and helping to define and drive digital campaigns. Work to drive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) across all marketing efforts, including content creation, social engagement, campaign landing pages etc.
  • Responsible for the competition and pricing analysis
  • Develops and executes market plans for customer segments including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) 
  • Launch new products, follow product management cycle, packaging and portfolio placement of Hoya brands and communication executions to sales team and the eyecare professionals/optics
  • Responsible for preparation of the monthly/quarterly/annual demand forecast
  • Monitors changes in the market and customer base by conducting an analysis to determine account volume, potential and needs
