QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

HRWorks Consultancy,established in 2011, is an executive search and interim management consultancy company, operating specifically in Turkey and its neighboring countries. We offer our services to various business areas, but our core expertise lies within the industrial sectors.

We add value to your business through two areas of expertise:

·         Senior and mid-senior executive search and assessment in the industrial sector

·         On-Demand HR projects solutions and consultancy services


Currently, we are in search of Accounting & Reporting Managerresponsible for Taxes, Statutory Reports, Global Reporting & IFRS, Cost Accounting, Intercompany reports, Payroll and employee personal rights for our Client, providing support to the management team in the plant. The person in this position will be reporting functionally to CFO, supervising 3 employees in Finance & Admin Department.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, tax law and regulations.
  • Preparing financial results every month (statutory and IFRS reporting).
  • Taking part in all external and internal controls and audits and if necessary, undertaking and supervising all corrective actions.
  • Preparing necessary data and conclude insurance contracts with the insurers indicated by the headquarters.
  • Managing and coordinating works of accounting office and audit company.
  • Supporting the CFO to develop budget and profitability goals, review progress as compared to budget.
  • Supporting CFO to manage administrative affiliate, HR, and controlling purchasing issues.
  • Controlling company`s expenditures, optimize costs and savings.
  • Reviewing financial, sales and activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement, determine areas needing improvement and costs reductions with program to achieving it.
  • Preparing general information, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Preparing statistical and financial records.

 

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of accounting&reporting experience preferably developed within a mid-size global industrial manufacturing company
  • Knowledge and experience in General Accounting, Cost Accounting, IFRS, Income Statement, Declarations and Tax Legislation with having Certified Public Accountant (SMMM).
  • Knowledge of an ERP system preferred
  • Strong educational background with a university degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A proven track record of working in complex structures
  • Demonstrated success in relationship building and contract management
  • Self-starter and change agent with sky-high levels of personal energy, drive, and enthusiasm
  • A strong work ethic and a desire to commit to and deliver results, taking tough decisions where necessary
  • A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to review and identify issues and opportunities in business processes and systems
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to deep dive into details and to solve problems
  • Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and influencing skills 
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent use of MS Office
  • Resides in İzmir.
