Senior Java Developer

As Huawei Turkey R&D Center AI Enablement Dept., we are looking for self-driven, experienced developers who will carry responsibilities in the following areas:

·      Work as part of the software development team, supervise and improve development best practices, perform code reviews.

·      Working with the project PMs to design and develop core features and functionality of the large scale, multi modular software projects.

·      Bringing new technology and ideas to the table, Influencing cross team initiatives and mentoring junior engineers

Required Education & Experience

·      Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technologies or a related field

·      At least 5-6 years of experience in software development and strong knowledge on Java, Spring, HTML, React/Vue.js, Microservice Architecture, Elastic Search, Kafka etc.

·      Experience in RDBMS databases (Oracle, MySQL etc.) and NoSQL databases

·      Enterprise Integration, SOAP, REST, Integration and Messaging Middleware

·      Excellent understanding of object orientated programming (OOP), service oriented (SOA) and layered architecture

·      Strong understanding of design patterns and anti-patterns, DevOps best practices (Docker containers, Kubernetes technologies)

·      Experience on Java Unit Tests, Continues Integration & Delivery Tools and Static Check Tools like SonarQube, SonarLint, Codestyle, FindBugs

·      Experience on Java Concurrency and Profiling: Memory usage, garbage collector, CPU usage and thread usage analysis and optimization.

·      Experience on capacity and performance testing

·      Basic understanding about Linux commands and shell scripting for Ubuntu and CentOS based distros

·      Excellent command in written and verbal English
