Purchasing Specialist Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our purchasing department as a ''Purchasing Specialist Trainee''. The successful candidate will work closely with our Purchasing Country Manager to learn and assist with various purchasing activities, including meetings. Initially, the trainee will take direction from the purchasing department manager, but will eventually be trained to become a specialist.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
• Prior experience in purchasing or procurement is a plus, but not required.

Career Path: The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and mentoring from the purchasing department manager and other experienced purchasing specialists. They will be trained in various purchasing processes, tools, and systems, and will be provided with opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world situations. The goal of the training program is to prepare the trainee to become a fully qualified Purchasing Department Specialist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist the Country Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and meeting,
• Prepare purchase orders and contracts, ensuring that they are accurate and complete,
• Track and monitor purchase orders and delivery dates, communicating any delays or issues to the relevant parties,
• Learn and assist with various purchasing software tools and systems.
