• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  
• Very good knowledge in the field of value and cost analysis  
  
• Very good business knowledge, especially in parts price and tool calculation  
  
• Experience with supplier discussions, cost negotiations/cost breakdown discussions 
  
• More than 3 years of professional experience in a project environment 
  
• More than 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing (injection molding, die casting, machining, surface finishing, etc) or assembly of automation products. Ideally professional experience from tool making or automotive supply industry. 
• Practical experience with the calculation software "Siemens TcPCM" is an advantage
• Strong communication skills with business fluent English, other languages such as German are an advantage 
• Strong ability to work independently, self-management, hardworking, positive-minded
• The high degree of goal and customer orientation, initiative and ability to work in a team
• Cooperative, systematic, analytical, responsible, convincing 
• Ideally presentation and moderation experience 
• Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
• Military service completed for male candidates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Global support of the purchasing department in supplier negotiations - Preparation and execution of purchase part price analyses 
  
• Preparation of complex calculations and derivation of demanding and resilient target prices based on solid product design, technology and manufacturing knowledge 
  
• Management and implementation of workshops for the analysis of price structures and manufacturing processes at suppliers  
  
• Carrying out complex, technical and business analyses with the aim of identifying relevant cost drivers and defining suitable optimization measures 
  
• Convincing presentation of work results to management as well as cross-functional project teams 
  
• Application and further development of value- and cost-analytical methods & tools 
  
• Participation in strategic projects as well as process development and internal training
