For the open position at Teknopark Istanbul office, we are looking for aSenior System Admin/ Senior Application Support Engineer. The candidate should have the following qualifications:

Education & Profile 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields 
•  5+ years of experience in infrastructure administration role 
• Experience in installing, upgrading, and/or configuring multi-tier application software 
• Strong understanding of web technologies and the components of web-based applications 
• Strong customer services and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent communication skills in English 
• Having proactive attitude and strong analytical skills 
•  Eager to learn existing and new technologies & trends in IT Service Management, Automation and Monitoring 

Technical Skills 

• Experience in Windows, Linux operation systems 
• Experienced in TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall, Load balancer network technologies 
• Good knowledge and demonstrated troubleshooting abilities on connectivity issues due to firewall, load balancer, proxy, and others. 
• Experience on fail-over, high availability 
• Experience with middleware products such as Apache Tomcat,JBoss and HTTP servers such as Apache Web Server, IIS
• Having knowledge of database technologies especially MS SQL and Oracle Scripting and programming abilities is a plus 
• Knowledge of Change, Incident and Problem Management processes, Familiar with ITIL practices. (preferably having ITIL certificates) 

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Candidate will be part of the team to implement and support BMC Software products 
• Involve in on-site implementation projects of BMC Software products (Installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration, etc.) 
• Support customer installations, perform health checks, analyze product logs 
• Perform routine and periodic upgrades and maintenance activities for BMC Software products to ensure quality, security and support of the system.
