The candidate will join the IDT Defense Integration and SW Development Team. The successful candidate will (along with other team(s) members) be responsible for Software Integration of a system that is going to be installed on-to an air platform. Reading the message contents provided by the system, the candidate will be responsible for displaying the contents on a local Windows platform, depending on the operating mode. There may be a GIS content that is going to be used along with the target information content. The requirements for the screen displays will be provided by Systems Engineering team. Data-link is going to be used for command and control function as well. Therefore there will be a command-and-control interface on the same software product. 

What are my responsibilities? 

Implementing the ethernet communication protocol based on STANAG Standards  Working within the R&D team to develop, maintain and support command and control software which is to be implemented on a ground station, 

 Developing and maintaining Windows-based applications and components under the guidance of the product owner/expert(s), 

 Supporting tests for the platform integration team to assess performance, correctness and usability of the software,

What do I need to qualify for this job? 

 B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (or similar fields), 

 Proven software development experience in Object-Oriented Programming practices, General Knowledge of Design Patterns, best practices and their usages, 

 Excellent command of English is a must, 

 Experience with GIS systems (Nato WorldWind and/or Hexagon Geospatial’s Luciad)

 Previous experience on one or more of the following: 

 Experience on desktop application and/or simulation software development (especially on C/C++, C#, Java,Hibernate ORM), 

 Experience with file based and/or relational database,

In-Memory Databases Experience with Configuration Management Systems (GIT, ClearCase, etc.), 

 Knowledge in software life cycle and agile methodologies, 

 Knowledge in Stanag 4607 Stanag 7023 

Knowledge in continuous integration concepts (Jenkins, Maven.), 

No restrictions for travelling abroad temporarily, Military service should be completed for male candidates or postponed more than 2 years.
