Qualifications:

(BS/MS) Degree in organic and analytical chemistry from a reputable university

3-5 years applying analytical skills in the flavour and fragrance industry or food industry

Hands on experience with GC and MS equipment

Practical experience of sample preparation techniques

Experienced in GC and GC/MS tecchniques and with MS interpretation

PC literate - MS Office applications and SAP QM Module

Residence in Asian side or close to Gebze

Military service must be completed for male canddiates

Able to work within a shift if it's needed

Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills

Job Description:

To provide analytical support to the EAME Flavor Business Unit and limited analytical support to the Global Flavors R&D program focusing mainly on the analysis of volatile compounds in consumer products, competitors’ products, natural products and foods

Preparation of samples, chromatographic and spectroscopic analysis, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, laboratory maintenance

To complete analysis, separation and quantitation (GC & LC) and identification (GC-MS) of samples and extracts

To interact with flavorists to translate analytical results into flavor formulations

To update results to the Analytical Information Management (AIM) database

To work within the assigned project timelines

To work with flavorists to make the best use of analytical results

Method development, equipment maintenance and operation of equipment and laboratory maintenance

To always work in a safe way

Coordination of analytical activities (raw material and finished product testing), to ensure analysis meet department agreed KPI’s

Load the inspection results to SAP Quality Module

Perform detailed investigations into internal and external non-conformance, including root cause and preventative actions

Maintain quality & standards of the Company within lab.
