Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Data Scientist,
• Advanced academic degree (MS / PhD) typically in a quantitative discipline or related field is a plus,
• Strong programming, prototyping and scripting skills in Python and in at least one deep learning framework such as Keras, PyTorch or Tensorflow,
• Hands-on application experience of machine learning models, statistical methods and optimization algorithms in real-life problems,
• Experience in data mpreprocessing / data preparation,
• Experience with NLP libraries (like NLTk, spaCy, Gensim, openNLP, Stanford-NLP, WordNet),
• Experience with NLP techniques in one or more of the following: Machine Translation, Question Answering, Information/Relation Extraction, NER, Sentiment Analysis, Topic Modeling, Recommendation etc.,
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, meets deadlines, and simultaneously works on multiple projects,
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Job Description

• Delving into data from different systems, structured and unstructured, both batch and real time, to discover hidden relationships and useful information,
• Feature engineering by using structured/unstructured data,
• Using machine learning /AI algorithms to perform modeling for various business needs of iLAB’s portfolio companies,
• Ability to relate and solve business problems through machine learning and statistics,
• Presenting the results to technical and non- technical audiences,
• Collaborate with product, engineering and commercial teams.
