We are now looking for a dynamic, organized, enthusiastic, self-starter to join our team as a Grants Specialist who will be a member of Finance & Accounting Team located in our Istanbul office.

We’re lucky to have an amazing Finance Team, and now, we need your help to grow it.

What you will do day in and day out:

Managing and supporting the grant requirement and implementation for the organization

Keep the relevant staff informed about upcoming deadlines and deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth completion of work responsibilities

Identify and develop strategies to optimize the grants administration processes

Perform relevant research to identify available grant opportunities and evaluate the results

Monitor paperwork and other related documents connected with grant-funded programs

Maintain records of all payments and receivables and prepare monthly records for all grant related activities

Train and support new staff on grants management and reporting requirements, and provide ongoing support and guidance on systems and workflows

We’d love to hear from you if:

You’ve a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance and Accounting or other related fields

You’ve minimum 1 year of experience in a related role, preferably

You’re a proactive and self-directed person, you take initiatives when necessary

You know your way around coordinating and motivating the team members

You’ve strong organization and time management skills to deliver multiple projects with tight deadlines

You’ve an excellent command of English

You’re familiar with working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, ever-growing and challenging startup environment
