QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or business administration from a reputable university
• At least 5-8 years of related experience in solar or construction sector
• Vast knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in reading the market
• Skilled in negotiating, networking and problem solving
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data
• Excellent supplier contract knowledge   
• Result-oriented and multi-tasking with good time management skills      
• Being an excellent team player, as well as being able to work individually   
• Fluent in written and spoken English 
• No restriction to travel abroad

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Procure the highest quality components or services using the most cost-efficient methods
• Monitor changes affecting supply and demand, tracking and analysing market conditions, price trends, or futures markets
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, distribution capabilities, supplier's reputation and history
• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine current market pricing
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
• Negotiate, renegotiate, administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives
• Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance and inventories
• Maintain data in information systems or databases
• Write and review product specifications, maintaining technical knowledge of goods/ services to be purchased
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine the need for changes
• Monitor shipments to ensure that goods arrive on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods
