QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build multi-brand & multi-product strategy, review of offers, channels, pricing, segmentation & positioning.

Drive and execute and communicate B2B & B2B2C marketing programs in line with yearly marketing calendar to increase sales 

       * Drive brand awareness

       * Product / category management

       * Trade marketing – working directly with the sales team and customers to develop customized initiatives

Manage end-to-end campaigns including planning, coordinating, directing, targeting, reporting and optimization.

Drive customer acquisition and retention by organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs (segmentation) and determining company presence at exhibitions, conventions, annual meetings, trade events, and seminars.

Manage and/or participate in building relationship with press (PR) & trade organisations

Manage and own the creative production of marketing collateral / output, including writing engaging and effective copy, managing newsletters and all other customer and brand communication as relevant and management of external agencies.

Brand management, responsible for all aspects of brand management / usage / conformity / guidelines.

Create & execute go-to-market launch strategies alongside key stakeholders (including sales team) to effectively roll out and grow the scale and impact of key programs and activities 

Manage team, develop staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.

Monitor progress and submit performance reports

Management of yearly marketing budget and allocate resources among projects & brands

Develop a clear understanding of the optical market, products, promotions and activity and keep abreast of trends & competitors’ movements. Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.

Liaise with key internal & external stakeholders


QUALIFICATION

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

Proven experience as marketing manager or similar role preferably in regulated markets such as pharma or medical (+5 years)

Previous experience with a global brand

Excellent leadership and organizing skills 

Understanding of B2B & B2B2C marketing valued with a customer-oriented approach with aptitude

Broad multi-skilled marketing background

Analytical and creative thinking

Experience of working with different levels of management, customers, suppliers and sales team

Preferably holding a marketing degree

Graduation from a reputable university

Excellent written & oral English


TECHNICAL JOB RELATED SKILLS

Conversant with Microsoft Office software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and spread sheet experience

Conversant with Gmail and Google Documents

Ability to work within and manage a small team, with staff at all levels and with partner organisations and customers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
