Budget and Planning Professional/Leader

We are looking for a “Budget and Planning Professional/Leader” who will take a role in the Finance Department of Bilgi University.

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Economics, Engineer or a relevant discipline with successful academic record, MBA is also an asset,
• 5 – 8 years of experience in a FP&A/Budget department of a multinational company, 
• Fluency both written and spoken in English,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications,
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment,
• Highly analytical, comfortable with big data and detail oriented, problem solving mindset,
• Sound knowledge of USGAAP/IFRS and Turkish GAAP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the academic and administrative departments during the Budget, Forecast and Long-Range Plan periods,
• Effectively & timely manage monthly, quarterly and annual planning and reporting requirements,
• Periodically meet with budget owners in order to understand analyze the drivers of actual vs budget variances,
• Monthly preparation of expense reports by cost centers,
• Present actual vs budget operational expenses on a monthly basis,
• Identify risks and oppurtunities on a monthly basis closely working with budget owners and prepare risk and opportunities report.
