We are looking for a new team member as Project Quality Chief who will be responsible for project and quality management during new project implementation, by setting and monitoring roadmap for the project in accordance with customer and company standards, goals and expectations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a reputable university,

At least 10 years of experience with global automotive OEM-Projects, especially PSA, RENAULT and TOYOTA,

Minimum 8 years of experience within quality organisation of an OEM Tier1 supplier,

Minimum 3 years of experience in managerial position in quality,

 Excellent knowledge and experience of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 including system development,

IATF 16949 Internal Auditor certification required,

Excellent knowledge and experience of core tools APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and IMDS, Operational experience in Lean Manufacturing such as VSM, 6S, 8MUDA, Poka Yoke, One Piece Flow,

Experience in active usage of problem solving methods (PDCA, 8D, 6 Sigma, Ishakawa Diagram and Kaizen),

Basic TPE and/or Textile materials knowledge is an asset,

Good knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques, calibration, laboratory testing,

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, decision making and proactive problem solving capabilities, as well as ability to perform under stress,

Analytical minded, goal oriented and initiative taker,

Well organized, self-driven with strong cultural adaptability and flexibility,

Skilled at team building and effectively working with cross functional teams,

Very good command of English both verbal and written (Interviews will be conducted in English),

French as second language is preferred,

Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications and ERP/MRP programs,

Valid driving licence class B,

No restriction for travelling, domestically and internationally,

Residing in or willing to relocate to Istanbul Anatolian Side or Kocaeli,

No military obligation for male candidates,



Reporting directly to the Operation Coordinator of Itameks Automotive, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:


Overall development, implementation, improvement and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 conforming with customer and regulatory requirements and promoting consistency throughout the organization,

Obtaining good scores at IATF 16949 audits, and renewing certificates on schedule,

Working in accordance with the principles of continuous improvement and lean management techniques to improve the process quality and efficiency,

Monitoring and improving internal metrics (scrap/waste ratio, customer claim, cost of quality assurance) and customer indicators/ KPIs and developing action plans with the team to achieve the targets,

Coordination of customer audits and following up of corrective and preventive actions,

Planning and conducting internal audits in order to allow sustainability of observed quality systems (5S, products, processes, systems),

Monitoring and managing the closure of all non-conformances and customer complaints using formal problem solving techniques including 8D, Lean Six Sigma tools and leading team to resolution,

Managing and maintaining the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming/in-process materials, components, processes and finished goods in order to meet customer and safety/regulatory requirements,

Assuring the completeness and archiving of all relevant products/process data for traceability and product liability,

Performing external supplier audits ensuring compliance with Quality Management System,

Monitoring and development of supplier quality to ensure that all components fulfill their specific requirements,

Ensuring accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices,

Leading, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies,

Developing training schedules for assigned employees to guarantee a precise personnel development.
