Fraud Analyst

We are looking for professionals from a banking or e-commerce background to join our Risk Operations Team in İstanbul. The purpose of the role is to protect iyzico, its merchants and card users from fraud and reduce exposure of all stakeholders to fraud related activity such as identity theft, unauthorized account access, account take-over etc 

Major Responsibilities

• Detect high-risk behavior and transactions, take actions to reduce iyzico’s exposure
  
• Review transactions for fraud
  
• Takes corrective actions on merchant accounts based on their risk assessments as certain account settings tend to become outdated
• Makes data/fact backed decisions
  
• Designs and helps implement fraud rule sets on accounts that have different risk levels
• Follow chargeback procedures and use chargeback data to further enhance fraud filters
• Follow fraud trends and raise awareness both within the team and company
  
• Take corrective and preventative actions to mitigate both internal and external fraud activity
• Follow up on card brand rules and design chargeback defense scenarios to reduce dispute related loss

Skills & Expertise

• Excellent attention to detail
  
• The keen sense of fraud and fraudulent behavior
  
•  Not afraid to take data-driven, well-informed decisions and to take responsibility for his/her actions
  
• Have 2 to 3 years experience in Brand Risk, Onboarding or Fraud Teams within the Compliance department
