PHP Web Developer

Izmir University of Economics is looking for software development specialist (PHP Back-end Developer) with below qualifications to join the software development team in projects developed within the body of the Directorate.

• Being a graduate of departments of software, computer engineering (4-year programs),
• Having at least 3 year experience in PHP and in various frameworks (Yii, Smarty, Symfony, Laravel),
• Having experience in secure code writing and software development,
• Having experience in MySQL,
• Having experience in OOP and MVC,
• Having experience in web services such as RESTful and SOAP,
• Having experience in version control systems such as Git, SVN, etc.,
• Having good command of software documentation,
• Putting the end user performance first in codes written,
• Being a team worker, integrated working with our team of experts,
• Having good command of English,
• Showing previous project as reference

• Having developed software for high traffic / concurrent multi-user dynamic projects,
• Having knowledge on and experience in CSS (Bootstrap Framework),
• Having knowledge on and experience in JavaScript / jQuery,
• Being good at or interested in improving in MySQL optimization,
• Being under the age of 35,
• Having completed mandatory military service (for male applicants) or deferred for a period of two years.

İŞ TANIMI

• Developing web-based software projects mostly,
• Developing software in line with demands regarding existing and new software projects,
• Developing all or some section of modules of software systems in line with technical specifications and demands,
• Preparing the necessary documentation for developed software and modules,
• Administering application tests.
